I’ve been feeling very sad and crying for no reason
Annet, 15
sHello, I’ve been feeling very sad and have been crying for no reason I can think of for the past month. I’ve hung out with my friends and I’ve spent time doing stuff I used to like but it seems like I don’t enjoy doing the things I liked to do anymore. I’m becoming more tired and it’s getting difficult to send a text or hangout with my friends because I feel very tired, not physically tired but mentally tired I would say (I might sound a little weird but I have a communications disorder so it’s difficult to express my thoughts). I wanted to talk to someone about it but I do not feel like I have anyone to talk to about it

Hello,
Thank you for writing us, and I think you express yourself very well in your post.
It is good that you can write down your thoughts and feelings, sometimes it can help just to express it in writing as well.
When it comes to talking to someone about things, sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith and trust someone. At school you can always talk to the public health nurse (helsesykepleier), a teacher, adviser or a grown up in your family.
Often it is difficult to find the exact reason why you feel so drained of energy or sad or you just don't enjoy the things you used to enjoy.
During youth or teenage years, the emotional center in the brain is changing and many young people gets strong outburst of emotions that are unexplainable. An other thing that is happening, is that you interpret others through emotions and the fear of not being good enough.
This is why it is so important to talk about those thoughts and feelings, because they can get very self-destructive.
I wish you all the best!
Kind Regards
