Who can I talk to about how I am feeling?

Hello, I’ve realized I have absolutely no one in my live I can freely talk to, I can only talk about a few topics to certain people and I find that there are some topics I have no one to talk to about. One of these topics is how I am feeling. I do not have anyone I can rely on

Thank you for reaching out to ung.no with your question. It is common for young people who struggles with difficult thoughts and feelings to be nervous about talking to others about their problems, or as you mention, feel that they do not have anyone in particular to share these feelings with. You should know that you are not alone and that there are people you can reach out to.

I would recommend for you to start by reaching out to your parents, your teacher or the nurse ("helsesykepleier") at your school og your local health station for youth ("Helsestasjonen for ungdom"). I think that most people experience that their feeling og not having anyone to reach out to dissapears when they actuallt start talking about their problems. I am sure that this also will be your experience and I thus recommend you to talk to somebody about the things you may struggle with.

I also recommend that you write down your feelings as it may be easier to tell it this way than talking to begin with, and that you show the letter to the person you are talking to.
