Hi,
It is not a good idea to use these types of products when you haven't been advised to do so by a doctor, or for specific reasons.
When you already think you have a problem with food, eating, and dieting, and are still a child growing, it's especially bad.
Rather than use these types of products, I think it is important that you talk to somebody about what's going on.
What these types of products can do is lead to vitamin deficiencies, because they change or disturb the ways your body digests food. This is especially bad when you are still growing, and if you are normal or underweight.
In addition, having an eating disorder or developing one is a serious condition, and it's important to get help.
If your self view is getting warped, loosing weight and stopping eating is not going to help you get better and could be very dangerous in the long run.
You can talk to friends or family about the way you're beginning to think about this, for example by showing them what you have written to us.
You can also talk to Helsesykepleier at your school, or contact someone at Helsestasjon for ungdom. It's also possible to call or contact ROS, an organisation working with eating disorders.
I'll link some articles and resources below, they are in Norwegian, but hopefully still helpful to you.
Vennlig hilsen psykolog
